RiskTech 100 - 2007 - A comprehensive market assessment of the top 100 risk technology firms

RiskTech 100 is an annual study, in which the 100 top technology firms are selected and ranked. Rankings are formulated using a comprehensive sweep of the global market for risk management systems, and the application of a detailed assessment methodology.

In addition, in this year’s report, we have included opinion and thought leadership from leading experts in the field of risk technology, including our research partners, Risk Technology International (RiskTech) Ltd.

The technology firms in this report range from “tier 1” enterprise software powerhouses, to specialised boutiques. The common factor is that they all sell licensable software products and are recognised as being among the best in their chosen sector or risk class. Many of these firms supplement their pure software revenues with implementation and customisation services.

We have excluded pure-play independent consulting firms from this study. Firms such as Accenture, Deloitte, Bearing Point and Cap Gemini are active in this sector. However, for this study, we have focused on firms that sell their own software products as a part of their overall offering for risk management. Therefore, firms such as IBM, Tillinghast and Protiviti are included.
